Movement Check-Up for Children
A professional assessment of your child's movement, balance and body control, with objective measurements and personalised recommendations.
When can it be useful?
A Check-Up can help you better understand how your child moves during different activities.
Children who play sports
To assess mobility, balance and control during movement.
Difficulty with movement
When a child experiences restricted movement, difficulty balancing or challenges with physical activities.
A closer look at movement
For parents who would like a clearer understanding of their child's physical function.
What do we assess?
VALD HumanTrak supports a range of movement measurements. The physiotherapist selects tests appropriate to the child's age and abilities.
Not every test is necessary or suitable for every child. The physiotherapist determines which assessments to perform.
How does the Check-Up work?
Discussion and assessment
The physiotherapist speaks with the parent and child, gathers relevant information and selects appropriate tests.
Movement measurements
The child performs simple movements while VALD HumanTrak records movement measurements.
Results and recommendations
The physiotherapist explains the results, discusses the findings with the parent and provides recommendations.
What will parents receive?
Clear information about the measurements and their child's movement function.
What should you know?
What ages is the Check-Up for?

Is this a medical diagnosis?
No. This is a functional movement assessment. It does not replace a medical examination or diagnosis.
Does a parent need to attend?
Yes. A parent or guardian accompanies the child during the visit.
How much does the Check-Up cost?
The price is 6,500 ALL. It includes the assessment, appropriate measurements, a report and recommendations.
